BCNT offers the Diploma of Remedial Massage course over two years, the first year of training develops skills in therapeutic massage and the operation of a safe and clean clinic. The second year builds on these skills and adds remedial techniques which enable the student to assess and treat a wider range of presenting symptoms in clients. There are many advantges to this method of training, you have time to develop and consolidate skills, additionally at the end of the first year you will receive the Certifcate IV qualification which means you can practice as a qualified therapist while you continue your studies in the second year.

Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice provides skills in therapeutic relaxation massage including basic health assessment and treatment. On completion of this course graduates often enter clinical practice or a variety of health care professions including day spas, health resorts, aged care or palliative care facilities or hospitals.The course is delivered by experienced, professional vocational trainers throughout the calendar year commencing in March. Catering for individual needs, our course gives students personalised attention in a career based learning environment.
Diploma of Remedial Massage - HLT50307
Diploma of Remedial Massage is intended for those students who wish to specialise in Remedial Techniques. Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice is a prerequisite to the Diploma course. With the extra skills and knowledge gained in this qualification you will have the potential to accept a whole new class of clients and access some very lucrative business that comes through the recognition of the Diploma by authorities like Workcover, various Commonwealth agencies and health funds.

Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy) 21920VIC
Additional to the remedial massage skills learned in the Diploma, the myotherapy student uses treatment regimes and clinical orthopaedic assessments to enhance the overall treatment plan. The course emphasis is on the assessment and treatment of myofascial dysfunction, and enhancing the skills of the remedial therapist. A graduate would expect to work in a multidisciplinary clinic environment.
Applicants may seek recognition of prior learning for credit in these courses and also recognition of qualifications and statements of attainment gained from an RTO elsewhere. Please ask us about the appropriate application form if you believe you have skills that could be recognised in the course you choose. Qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued through us will also be recognised throughout Australia by other RTOs.
