Michael Quinlivan

Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy), Diploma of Bowen Therapy, Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.

Michael has been a soft tissue therapist since 1995. He is a qualified Myotherapist and has operated as a clinician since 1997. He specialises in Remedial and Sports Techniques servicing a wide range of clientele.

Along with Karen, he founded Border College of Natural Therapies. He is the Managing Director of his company and is undertaking the operations and organisation of the College. He has been a sessional teacher of massage for 8 years and now delivers and coordinates the Diploma of Remedial Massage in Wodonga and Griffith. He also coordinates the delivery of Advanced Diploma of Massage (Myotherapy).

Michael believes that being a Remedial Massage Practitioner gives him the opportunity to practise and maintain his skills, and benefits students in that he has experience, knowledge and credibility to deliver courses.

Karen Hedrick



Karen Hedrick

Bachelor of Science Education, Certificate IV in Massage, Diploma of Bowen Therapy, Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.

Karen has been a soft tissue therapist since 1998. She is a qualified Bowen and Therapeutic Massage practitioner, operating as a clinician since 2000. She treats a variety of clientele offering a range of natural therapies including iridology, herbal and homeopathic supplements, ear candling and specialising in Bowen Therapy and massage.

Along with Michael, she founded Border College of Natural Therapies and is the College Administrator. She is also a trainer and assessor in Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice. Her 27 years of teaching experience in Secondary Colleges, University and TAFE is an invaluable aid in delivering Anatomy and Physiology education to her students in an interesting and achievable manner. She combines her ongoing clinical experience with her educational background to provide training relevant to the needs of students in clinical practice.

Di Swain



Di Hughes
B. Sc.Honours, Diploma Remedial Massage, Certificate IV in  Bowen Therapy, Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training.

Di has been involved in teaching anatomy, physiology, exercise and physical assessment to massage, TAFE and university students for over a decade. She feels fortunate to teach people the fascinating topic of the human body. She aims for hands on practical learning that will be relevant in clinical practice.

Di manages an Anatomy teaching lab, she is also a qualified remedial massage and Bowen therapist. She enjoys assisting people to optimise their health through natural means.

 

Craig Quinlivan

Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage(Myotherapy), Diploma of  Bowen Therapy, Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training.

Craig has been a soft tissue therapist since 1999. He has been a full time therapist for 6 years and is qualified in the Emmett Technique, Granter Myofascial Dysfunction techniques as well as Myotherapy, Remedial Massage and Bowen Therapy.

Craig is a trainer and assessor in the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice course, training our students in sports and therapeutic massage. As he specialises in Remedial and Sports treatments on a daily basis in his busy Albury clinic  he is easily able to pass on his knowledge and skills in the classroom.

Dave Maddox

Dave Maddox

Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage(Myotherapy), Diploma of  Bowen Therapy, Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training.

Dave has been a soft tissue therapist since 2003. He is qualified in Myotherapy, Remedial Massage and Bowen Therapy as well as the Onsen Technique (Muscle Energy)

Dave is a trainer and assessor in the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice course, training our students located in Griffith. Treating people on a daily basis utilizing Remedial Massage and Bowen Therapy techniques in his busy Albury clinic, enables him to pass on his knowledge and skills in the classroom.
